Final Report

This project is to introduce about Korea, especially Seoul, for young British visitors, from 16 to 25 years old. The final goal of the project is to create a prototype of website and a video clip in the homepage. So I write about a prearranged plan report.

First I understand about funding sources. It can be divided into two part – income and Expenditure. Income’s ways are Being paid to the job, Private funding(=social funding), Corporate funding, Public funding, Selling advertising, Selling your product. And expenditure is spend money. If you’re income is less than expenditure, you have to loss. Expenditure is a close connection that project’s plan. For example equipment, license, studio hire, insurance, travel, marketing ect. Our money is limited, so we have to make planning and progress our project about the money. That is budget sheet.

After make budget sheet, we should make our whole schedule. If I’m not care about this, I’m going to have problem. Because We have many variable in everyday and have a dead line.

And My team members can’t make every need things in project, so I have to employ extra staff or buying products(music, pictures). Before I do this, I have to know through SWOT or Skill audit and be going to know my team’s contribute. It is very import thing to make higher project’s completeness.

If I done this, I should decide Facilities / Location. Facilities is some special place such as studio, company, or building to specific object, or activity, or equipment even if systems. It offer to us working easily, and it make for us, use can our ability well. And when I decide location and Facilities, I have to Location reconnaissance. It makes project’s quality up and help schedule clean.

And when I make the website, I need Materials about graphics, motion sequences, sound. Also Materials can be programs. For example, when I make video, materials are Sound, images, pictures, and premiere pro, After effect, illustrator, photoshop.

Lastly, I have to know Legal constraints and ethical guidelines. I have to know 4 things. First, Industry codes of practice. It is treaty when they make product, in Industry. I need this Intended to eliminate the practice of improper industry, to improve the industry standard. It can promote good business practices and the development of the company, to improve labor-management relations. Second, Release form. When I use other’s copyright Materials, I need this. It is protect that company is not involved in litigation, such as company copyright infringement. Release form can give own right to any company or person In each agreement. Third is Public liability insurance. I have to pay a cost in regular to insurance company and if my members get hurt or something happened bad things I can take money about this and provide to them. This minimizes damage when something events occurred. Lastly, Copyright. It protect the copyrights of copyright owner and purpose the fair use of copyrighted materials. But Fair use of copyrighted materials are not have right infringement such as purposes comment, news reporting, education and research.

During the project, I have a step for understand through ‘Moodle’ and many sites. And I can feel When making about something, how many have to pass prepare, check and know. I felt share together to talk and discuss with my friends. It was a good experience for me. So through this project, I can learn, feel, and do many thing and I hope keep this about future and develop.
