Hello, my name is hyein and I’m going to talk about motion graphics.
What is a Motion Graphic?
Motion graphics are similar to infographics, but they use video footage or animation to create the illusion of motion.
Unlike interactive data visualizations, which allow users to manipulate the infographic and interact with a dataset, motion graphics tend to transform on their own.
Motion graphics are usually combined with audio, which makes them closer to films than static infographics.

So, now let’s see.
First, Advertisement.
When people use mobile phone, use finger.
This advertisement want to express through finger people can connect smart world.
Using 3d basic geometric object, This advertisement express variety motion graphics.
In here, line and shapes are applied for fog effects and using tracing, follow this men’s finger line and shapes are created and move around.
It’s really cool.
Through the light effects, this video added completion.
As you can see, object has very glaring movement.
When it go back, graphic’s become more bigger and more variety.
Also camera angle change so can forget the bored.

Next is about Oz The Great and Powerful opening title sequence’s motion graphic.
This film is about the wizard of Oz.
It consists of black and white graphics and when it start, fade-in effect is applied in here.
so It’s very natural like nictate.
and When objects come out, It is not unnatural because of using ease in and out effect.
It has many overlap layers so you feel like entering somewhere so can experience feeling of space and perceptional depth.
and through the light and shadow effects, video’s detail is up.
It has very good object detail and transition and especially character’s name is all different designed and different moving.

Third is about website motion graphic.
This site is shoose shop named satorisan and very many codes are used.
for example, when you mouse over the image, image become bigger.
Site has to be interesting for keep visitors and
As you can see this site is very interactive so visiters are don’t feel about strange or bored, can enjoy this site.
When user comes in site, elements are smoothly moving.
and follow user’s control, it response.
This site is well used object’s move. Between move, not break and very smooth.

Now I want to talking about in the music video, what effects are used.
This music is really strong like Gangsta.
Follow the strong beat, electronic graphics are ornate moving.
Generally beat music express free and young so It uses data glitch effect and distortion.
By using CMYK color in video, added electronic mood.
and by using the real error message window in 3D layer, it looks like collage.

Next is about game motion graphic.
This game is about SF so it consists of blue and line that can be feel the SF mood.
In the game, one of most important things is interesting and fun and this game has really good technique.
When user click the something, graphic moves very smooth and variety without a pause.
and between the appear and disappear, ease in and out is well used.
also as you can see, Light and 3d effects are well used too.
and most object are used tracking, so game users can feel real screen in the war.

Final motion graphic example is about TV title sequence.
Motion graphics are not only created digitally. Traditional animation can also be used. and that technique can call stop motion.
Then, what is stop motion?
In film, repeats and plays each film so makes a false show it moves.
This example is consist of stop motion.
This motion graphic made up by only hand without only light effect.
Equate to other motion graphic examples, this is for attract audience’s attention so object’s movement is quite fun.
In the end of part’s speed is faster than real time so you can feel something different and fun.
